FLV-Media-Player is a simple and neat multimedia file player that lets you watch FLV, M4A and MP4 videos or listen to the streams of online radio stations. It can also be used as a very simple and compact MP3 audio player.
One of the best things about this tool is the fact that it can play Flash FLV videos without requiring you to have the Adobe Flash plug-in installed on your system. It provides a function that allows watching videos from online sources, by providing their URLs, but unfortunately this function didn’t work during my testing, failing to play the video from the YouTube link that I inputted. On the other hand, it comes with a comprehensive list of radio stations that you can listen to. Other remarkable features are: the support for playlist management, the possibility of adding files to a list of favorites, and the screen capture function.
FLV-Media-Player also comes with an easy-to-use interface. Though it doesn’t look exactly elegant or modern, but rather dull and outdated, the interface is intuitive and straightforward, enabling even beginners to use this application without any problem.
In conclusion, FLV-Media-Player is a nice tool that neither impresses nor disappoints. The best part about it is the fact that it’s free, so you may download it without any worries, and see for yourself if it suits your needs or not.
